York K Lubricant Oil

YORK Oil K is a fully synthetic polyol-ester (POE) lubricant designed for refrigeration and air-conditioning compressor systems.
It is intended for use with HFC refrigerants (and other refrigerants that require POE oils) in industrial/commercial systems.

• It offers excellent thermal stability, meaning it maintains its properties under high temperature operation.

• It has low moisture absorption (important for refrigerant oils, since POE oils are more hygroscopic than mineral oils).

• It provides superior lubrication—reducing friction and wear in compressors.

• Compatibility: It is described as suitable for refrigerants such as: R-134a, R-404A, R-407C, R-507, R-23, R-508A, R-508B.

• From the SDS: Appearance is a clear liquid, mild odor; flash point over ~460°F (~237.8 °C) (COC).

• The SDS data shows relative density approx 0.985-0.995 at ~15.6 °C.

• The oil is stable under normal conditions; no unusual reactivity under correct storage use.
